Blue Ventures needed a way for their volunteers to offset the carbon emissions they use whilst traveling to Madagascar.

They wanted a page whereby people could select two airports, then a lookup table would be used to calculate distance between them. From this the carbon offset cost could be calculated.

They supplied me with a spreadsheet that could do this and asked me to develop something a little different.

Google Maps instantly sprung to mind so I learnt how to use it and made a demo page. They were very happy with the direction I was taking the project and employed me to finish the work.
