Phorum
If you need a simple forum website then Phorum is a very nice solution. It's very quick and powerful but I would usually point people towards using Wordpress these days.

We ditched phpNuke, which had become obsolete, and replaced it with a custom content management system. I migrated the phpBB forum over to Phorum 5. I really like phorum, it's very elegantly written and I highly recommend it.  |
